life. I see it even before it arrives, but the knowing that I can
make it arrive stems from my inner conviction that I am already
connected to what only seems to be missing.

This feeling of connectedness propels me to act in such a way as if what I want, wants me. Thus, when I pray, I never attempt to influence God, ask for favors, or beg God to do something for me while I wait around and do nothing. Instead, I use prayer to open the gates of my soul to this divine presence.

I’ve used prayer as a way of residing in that one power and not asking God to do something, but rather to be in God consciousness where thoughts of scarcity simply dissolve and I feel directed to attract the missing pieces of my life like iron filings to a magnet.” ~ Wayne Dyer:

Good Thursday Morning Everyone on this, the Sixth Day of August, 2009

Detachment
I think the easy parts about manifesting / creating those things that we want in our lives is the desire and the imagining. Those are the fun parts. For me the hard part is detachment.

Often we get attached to how it is going to come to us, or when, or where. And of course, this stops the flow. We get in our own way.

The secret is in the allowing and with the allowing comes the “letting go”.

I am reminded here of a brilliant poem written by Rev. Safire Rose entitled “She Let Go” and these words:”In the space of letting go, she let it all be. A small smile came over her face. A light breeze blew through her. And the sun and the moon shone forevermore.”

Perhaps today, right now, is the time to finally just let go, and let it all be.

If you can imagine what it is that you truly desire from a deep feeling place, being grateful for all the blessings that are already in your life and detach yourself from the outcome, success is most assuredly yours.

If you want more of all of the good things in life, then take some time each day to really feel grateful for the myriad of blessings that you have already received, from the little things that you take for granted, to the bigger things that you may not even be aware of yet, let alone acknowledged.

Since what you focus on expands, focus on your blessings and watch your blessings grow.

“In order to allow more prosperity and abundance into your life, you need to have a consciousness of abundance and prosperity. In other words, you need to SEE abundance and prosperity everywhere. Scarcity is an illusion. It is not the truth of who you really are and what you are capable of. It is simply a misdirected thought, a perception, a habit of seeing the world in a certain way, a habit you have probably been practicing for a very long time. So, in order to change your life, you need only to shift your perception. Sounds great, you’re thinking, but HOW do I do that? The answer… PRACTICE!

It is all about PRACTICE. How do you learn to play the piano? One note at a time, one day at a time, and PRACTICE! It is the very same with Wealth, Abundance and Prosperity. Practice! You need to start noticing how abundant the Universe already is. When you are out walking, begin to notice how lavish everything is, the hundreds of trees, the thousands of leaves, the profusion of wildlife and flowers, the vastness of the sky, the opulence of nature all around you. When you go to the grocery store, wander around the produce section and notice how plentiful it is. The thousands of colorful and flavorful fruits and vegetables at your disposal.
